During your initial consultation, we will work with you to discover your unique needs and your vision. We ask you about your available timeline and your budgetary requirements. We’ll also discuss your style preferences.
We will then take measurements of your space, assessing what you like about your space and what you don’t, assessing all the items that need to be accommodated. We want to make sure your needs for organizing your things are met completely.
We are craftspeople and designers first and foremost, and we understand our customers’ needs for designs that reflect their individual tastes. With the breadth of finishes, accessories, storage options and finishing touches, we make it easy to find the just-right look for your home.
We will explain what our services will cover, go over what materials can be used, and finally, when the work can be scheduled. We will then create technical drawings and a line-by-line proposal which goes into all specifics previously discussed.
Get inspired! Come visit our shop! We encourage you to bring with you the information and photos you have in mind. If you are able to furnish us with enough detail, we can provide you with a ballpark cost estimate.
When you are ready to proceed, we schedule a site visit at your location to take accurate measurements. The site visit also enables us to get a feel for flow, style, and logistics of physically performing the job. The modest fee for this service is non-refundable, but is applied to the cost of your cabinetry.
We create drawings based on your feedback, information gathered at our site visit, specs generally accepted as Guidelines from the National Kitchen and Bath Association, and our 20 years plus of experience. When final drawings are complete, you review and approve the drawings and sign the agreement. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total job cost, less the prepaid site visit fee, is due at this time to move your project into our production queue. We provide you with an estimated delivery and installation date.
We contact you in advance to confirm that you are ready and schedule the delivery/installation date. A non-refundable payment of 40% of the cabinetry is due upon delivery. If your own contractor is doing the installation, the final balance is due at this time. If we are doing the installation, the final payment of 10% is due upon completion of installation.
